Jeff Andrews interview [engine builder HMS]........”Back in Charlotte are checking everything. Not RPM related for Chevy, but haven’t looked at full picture. Issue with batch of lifters perhaps.
Same package as the Bud Shootout. Those looked fine.

RCR is also experiencing engine issues. The 07 lost an engine 9 laps into the today’s final practice.
The last plate race of 2007 was a nightmare for the RCR engines. Four of five RCR engines failed during that race (Harvick, Burton, Truex & Earnhardt.)

That was the first race they merged the engines. It wasn’t a pretty picture. I’m wondering if they have fixed that. It was reported that Bowyers was a push rod failure.
