Giants were a good team this year but lost six games, one to the team they beat tonight. I guess since they couldn’t beat the Deadskins twice that means they were not better than them?

Yep, the Pats got out coached and out played. So many mistakes and missed calls- this is a devastating loss and I will not pretend otherwise. The Pats were exposed as total pretenders—champions win—not choke and make excuses. The D has sucked all year and it was fitting they blew it at the end—

Oh well, it is hockey season and I can look forward to my favorite team, the Montreal Canadiens to fall apart and break my heart again, isn’t life grand? ;)

He [Belichick] left his team on the field before the game was over. He's the BIGGEST LOSER!!!!!!

The biggest. Loser, and cheater.

Hey, actually I go along with the Pats fan who says you can’t dismiss what they did all season. It really should count for something, even if they failed at the (very) end.

But I don’t like that they were cheating.

Actually, I think I’m being philanthropic when I didn’t want the Pats to win - even if they won, it’s obvious even with perfect season capped by SB, they’d forever have the “cheating” thing hanging over their heads.

Better for the “cheaters” NOT to win the big game.

You mean the Toronto Bills? (ducks and covers)

(I kid. I have a bit of a soft spot for that team as well. Hopefully the Toronto thing works out.)

I’m a Californian, but I lived in Arizona for a few years and loved it.

California has such a long list of embarrassments. Arizona just has Napolitano.

Oh, and McCain.

Barber must be puking right now.

All his ex-teammates are clutching the Lombardi trophy and drowning each other in champagne. He's peering in through the window like a cuckold..........

my mistake, the first pre-season win was against the panthers, not the ravens.

“Obviously, he is a poor loser. And, a convicted cheater.”

Look, you loathe the man, and want to portray him as a loser. So be it. He and the other coach shook hands and hugged each other. Obviously the other coach doesn’t think he’s a poor loser. Think what you want. Doesn’t make you right, even though you have an obvious need to think you are right.

Re: I’m really happy for Eli tonight. New York’s a tough town, and he’s gone from being called a bum early in the season to Super Bowl MVP. You just can’t argue with that kind of triumph!

I have to say I sure like Eli more than that jerk Phil Simms. Eli has some humble class, Simms has none!

I have to say that I was pretty pleased about my Rangers 5-3 comeback win against the Habs today.
