OK – So who do we vote for? Seriously.

Huck is the most pro 2A of the remaining viable candidates, and he has other [nanny state] issues.

I’ve given up voting for someone I like. I detest all those who are left.

So I’m going with who can beat Hillary.

John McCain.

We are not going to get a conservative President this year. Then again, we don’t have one now.

Huck is also the least constitutional as he stated he believes in the living breathing document. IMO that trumps his “pro” 2A stance.

I don't like the idea of voting for any of them. Maybe we could talk Ted Nugent into running?

The point is that Romney is no more pro-gun or anti-gun then Bush or the majority of Republicans. Bush indeed did say he would sign the bill if it contained no changes.

The Dems changed the hell out of it and it failed. Romney said the same thing and that he would not support any new legislation. This is essentially the status quo position and is not a controversial one..

Huckabee, while governor of Arkansas espoused the same position. I know because I live here. He did however, sign legislation requiring all those who apply for a hunting license to show proof of taking a gun safety course. He raised fees on licensed, and did increase fines for violations which became quite a moneymaker for the State.

Huckabee is not the godsend of the pro-gun movement, and should never be considered better on this than Romney In my humble opinion as a gun owner and fisherman. He also mandated insurance on bass boats over 100HP. He mandated a lot of changes. He is good at that. He likes fees and taxes to do lots of human interest stuff. Clinton did not even do that.

Either him or Huck - whoever appears to be doing best against the MCCAINIAC, deserves our support. Either one will be the best we can get which is better than the McCainiac and FAR better than Barack HUSSEIN Obam or HITLERY.

You'll notice the candidate that has been at the forefront of this specific issue and in fact was the person who posed the question to Romney is Mike Huckabee.

I saw this series of You Tube videos trying to smear Huckabee on his record and you know what, I didn't find them all that bad and in a few cases I could see the logic and might have supported the measures he took, myself.

Remember something folks, the President can only propose and sign legislation. I don't care if Hillary wins if we have a strongly conservative (not RINO) Congress. If we control the Senate no treaty that springs from the UN on guns will get ratified. No anti-gun Supreme Court nominee will be confirmed. If we control the House any attempts to ramp up the powers of the BATFE can be stopped cold. If necessary the BATFE can be shut down and it's front door padlocked because it can be denied operating funds. All bills for spending (for anything) must originate in the House of Representatives.

However the GOP nomination is possibly out of Huckabee's reach, although a win or even a strong showing here in Florida would likely open up the pipeline to funds and talent. Still, I would vote for either Romney or McCain (whom I dislike intensely) IF either had Huck as the VP. This is a man I tend to trust. Enough that when my wife and I voted early yesterday (FL does that and it's awesome) we both cast our ballots for Huckabee.

"OK – So who do we vote for? Seriously. Huck is the most pro 2A of the remaining viable candidates, and he has other [nanny state] issues."

Ron Paul. He is the only candidate who is strongly pro-constitution, pro-liberty, pro-2nd amendment. He is passionate about protecting our rights and freedom, and our sovereignty. He is the ONLY one remaining who is not a globalist, CFR puppet. That's why there is a media black-out on him, and that's why they barely allowed him to speak during the debate last night. And he is the ONLY one who can beat Hillary, because he can bring in independents, the disgruntled Republicans, libertarians, and crossover Democrats. I honestly believe that he is our only hope. If the Clintons get back in, we may not have another opportunity to elect a true constitutionalist and patriot.
