Reminds me of the words of Churchill:

I believe they were:

“Never give in.”

“Never give in.”

“Never give in.”

I’m never giving up on Fred.

If the Pubs wont nominate him I’ll write him in and there ain’t a McCainiac, Mittwit or Huckface that can convince me to do otherwise.

It doesnt matter to me if Fred pulls out now - HE IS WHO I AM VOTING FOR COME NOVEMBER, WHETHER IT BE CHECKING THE BOX NEXT TO HIS NAME OR WRITING IT IN!!! And if the RNC puts McCain or Huckabee up as their nominee, they can KISS MY LILY-WHITE FLABBY A**! Its MY right as a LEGITIMATE American citizen to cast my vote for whomever I please, and I want to vote for FRED THOMPSON! So all you Huckabee/McCain supporters need to get over yourselves. I aint changing my mind.

Agreed. 100%. No need to give up. Mustn’t give up.

Those calling for him to give up are playing nasty politics for their candidate.

Only the first half of what you say is true. The rest is false hope a speculation.

The gop has rejected him, The Constitution and conservatives. The party does not deserve him or us and neither does the nation. I can not, in all good conscience, ask him to sacrifice himself and his family by returning to the corrupt sewer of our government.

I will continue to speak to principles until I am silenced but I will not ask that another be sacrificed for me.

I cannot believe that the same old anti Fred folks are here posting the same old lines!

I think it is just another case of "They hate us cause they ain't us".

Why else would they spend so much time on Fred threads???

When Giuliani rejoins the fray in Florida, the vote will be divvied up in interesting ways. It’s not over by a long shot, and Fred should stay in if only to keep the populists honest.

I am beginning to really believe that the PTB are rigging elections......Fred IS the number one candidate of them all, and to think on the Rat side, we got a guy who won’t even say the pledge of allegiance.

Hubby and I did the early voting on Saturday. Fred got two votes in Jacksonville, Florida.

I am also doing phone calls to chase any absentee ballots. I have done part of Duval county and am half way through Clay county.

I certainly am not giving up; no matter how many people hang up on me or cuss me out. I am still going to chase down those absentee ballots still uncast. There are still people out there that are undecided or who have just forgotten to send those ballots in.

GO FRED GO!!!

http://travismonitor.blogspot.com/2008/01/state-of-presidential-primary-race.html

Duncan Hunter has officially dropped out today. Fred Thompson, who staked his ground in South Carolina but ended up way short of Huckabee and a distant third, is a press release away from the same. The pundits are casting aspersions on Rudy Guiliani’s lifeless corpse of a campaign, which has shown no sign of life in the first 6 primaries; Florida is make-or-break for him; even Ron Paul has won more votes than Rudy. The media is unofficially calling Huckabee dead, as he was unable to parlay his Iowa win into anything but 2nd and 3rd place showings since, including the most evangelical state in the nation, South Carolina. His runner-up speech was defiant in his promise to his flock to keep on marching, but where will he win?

...

So it is down to Romney v McCain for the nomination. McCain is the favorite. The rest of the candidates have no hope of gaining the nomination at this time.

"And the contributions will greatly increase with a clear and firm statement that he will continue through the convention. Many of the voters fear wasting their votes and money on someone who will give up before 'the fat lady sings'"

Yes, needs to be repeated. The MSM and trolls have some sort of psy-op going trying to discourage Fred supporters by saying he'll quit. He could overcome this with a firm statement of his intention to stay in it. And he MUST stay in for all the reasons listed here.
