Fred HAS to win the Republican nomination!!! Here's why:
Even with limited funds, Fred can still prevail. And the contributions will greatly increase with a clear and firm statement that he will continue through the convention. Many of the voters fear wasting their votes and money on someone who will give up before the 'fat lady sings'.
Give them what they want - a firm commitment - and the votes and money will come in like a tidal wave. Do not acknowledge any possibility of loss. Be resolute and absolutely believe that Fred will win, and convey that commitment to the people. Fred needs to have and make this commitment, and so does his staff. The MSM has too many times alleged that senior staffers have hinted of his dropping out.
Cut that the hell out, please. You can post it one time and ping everyone with one post, you don’t need to spam the same thread 50 times.

Yes, needs to be repeated. The MSM and trolls have some sort of psy-op going trying to discourage Fred supporters by saying he'll quit. He could overcome this with a firm statement of his intention to stay in it. And he MUST stay in for all the reasons listed here.
All Thompson can do is play spoiler and make the fracturing of the GOP a reality. If he gets out now, there may be time to heal the damage done. Maybe, folks like you will get over your mania and eventually come back to reality. However, the longer Thompson drags it out, the more damage he does.

Nominating a person (assuming that were possible) who represents 15% of your own voters and zero percent of the rest is idiotic.
It's not a psyop to be discouraged when 85% of the Republican voters in an extremely conservative state vote for somebody else.

If he comes in 3rd there, hes done. I just want to stop McCain. Fred drew the line in the sand in SC, not me. If he wants to stay in , with little money, and hope for a brokered convention, then so be it.
The stupid FOX news poll asking if FRED should drop out is still running, so people need to vote early and often today. Guess it’s not their “question of the day” but their “question of the week” and they’ll keep polling until they get the answer they want.

Thank you. It is a feeling that has been growing in me for a long time. Sadly, many on this Forum don’t seem to get it, and many, many more around the country don’t have a clue.
play spoiler for who? Give me one guy that is a true conservative that’s worth voting for? At this point I may want another clintoon in office. At lease she can do what we as a party can’t...unite us. Just like BIll ushered in the Republican wave...the country and our party appears to need another wake up call.

You are making my point. Of course, if he had an effective, credible organization, he could have gotten enough Republican signatures. But he did not. That is the point. He ran an ineffective campaign. Who is to blame for that, the media?
P.S. I doubt that we have 500 Freepers in DE. Unfortunately, we are a microscopic patch of "Bidon blue."
Personally, I put the life and marriage issues first. But the only way to protect them is to protect our Constitution, IMHO. Fred seems to see that, too. He is both pro-life and pro-Constitution.
The Constitution and its preamble speak of an “inalienable right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” And the details of the Constitution lay out the best way to preserve those rights, given human nature and its flaws.
Right to life means right to self-defense, and that means the Second Amendment. And so forth. It all hangs together.
Seems you also misunderstood Fred's 'line in the sand' comment. It wasn't about HIM staying in the race. All he ever said about his part in the race was that it was their hope and expectation that he would do well. His comment had to do with whether or not the Republicans would draw a line in the sand to hold back liberalism in the party. Seems he was right to be concerned

I agree ImpBill. For these and other reasons, I have come to the same conclusion. It is nice to know others out there are thinking in these terms.
I don’t say this lightly, becuase I recognize this as a measure of last resort. If I couldn’t look back and realize what has taken place over the last 40 years, I wouldn’t be able to say what I am today.
What we have been doing, voting for RINOs, hasn’t been working. We are working together with the democrats to move this nation away from our founding principles. It has to end. For me it ends here.
They can take this nation down if they wish, but I’ll be no part of it.
Oh really? Well, it looks like he might bail soon, from the news Im hearing. Its hard to go on when youre broke. It just is.
