Note that outside of yesterday's Rasmussen (which showed considerable Fred Movement) there has been NARY a peep out of SC either
It is easy to deduce why that is -- Romney is leading Nevada, and Fred (or Mitt or both) has passed Huck and is closing on McCain.
Otherwise they would be slamming Michigan with polls reinforcing the "MCCAIN INEVITABILITY" factor.
MOST astute observation! The only polls that count are the ones tonight.
The Rasmussen SC poll that you mention had Thompson up four points from their previous poll, but still in fourth. McCain was also up however, so Thompson’s gain came at Huckabee’s expense, and McCain’s lead was 9 points, which is the biggest lead he has polled in the state since last May.
There was a Nevada poll released the other day which had McCain leading by 4 from Guiliani, Romney and Huckabee another couple of points behind that.
