Fred supported fellow Tennessean Howard Baker in a primary almost 30 years ago. Say it isn’t so Chuck, Say it isn’t so!

You know the Huckster is getting desperate when he drags out Norris to launch a pathetic hit piece. I used to give Chuck the benefit of the doubt, and assumed he endorsed the Huckster without knowing his full record, his pro-amnesty positions, his fast track clemency system, his “nanny state” ideas etc., But for Norris to still be behind him at this point tells me that Norris is another one of those who support the Huckster because he used to be a preacher and could care less if he was otherwise indistinguishable from Clinton, or Castro for that matter.

I’m not sure there was any effective way for Chuck to defend Governor Huckabee without hitting back at the records of the other candidates, but the column as a whole is more than a mere hit piece.
