Enemies stab you in the front.

Friends stab you in the back.

"She'll retire. She's been fighting cancer."

And John Paul Stevens has been fighting old age for decades now.

This next President will have some weighty tasks ahead.

Quote: You're a DU troll.

Ya right a DU Troll Since Apr 7, 1998. Sure whatever. I signed up on Free Republic when Bill Clinton was in full swing. The thought of his wife in office brings back all the really awful feelings as well as knowing the number of soldiers that would be killed under her reign is unconscionable. Though of course I would prefer a straight up conservative the Clinton machine is just plain evil.

Looks like Hillary was wearing a cute little number from her Chairman Mao collection.

Incrementalism running amok.

Guilianni, Bloomberg, both democrats that could not get on a democrat ticket so they chose the Republican avenue. Liberals. Nothing more. Nothing less.

We dilute everything these days. Dilution until the final product is worthless. Look at education. Look at college football. (do we need another bowl game for a 5 and 6 team)

Pretty soon incrementaly we have created something that is worth nothing. The republican party is headed that way breaking all speed limits. Name me 5 conservative senators. Name me 15 conservative congress critters.

My point. I will not vote for someone with “r”behind their name to conserve a party. I will vote ONLY for a conservative. Otherwise dilution to nothing is the result.

What makes you think a chief justice appointed by a pro abortion rino would look any different?

Robert Philip Hanssen spied for the russians for over 15 years. He was the most unlikely choice by others to be a spy.

I assure you that forcing conservatives to vote for liberals and then telling them they shouldn't vote because they won't vote for your liberal choices is not conservatism.

You should repent or go join DU.

Let me explain something to you. Right now I can’t buy a whole slew of guns because our Congress can’t comprehend what the Second Ammendment is all about.

In towns around me you have to provide your driver’s license to purchase ammunition for the guns you can purchase.

When Bush got his opportunity to appoint a new justice to the Supreme Court, his lofty choice was Harriet Meyers.

Bush though nothing of doublint the Department of Education which takes it’s marching orders from UNESCO. Did he protect our children from the incredibly devios policies of the NEA? Not a chance...

Did we get our border under control? Did we stop immigration from the nation that had the majority representation by the 09/11 hijackers? No. On this very forum exists an article exposing the fact that 70,000 new education visas will be supplied to citizens of Saudi Arabia, heavily dominated by the Wahabii sect of Muslems. They are rabidly anti-western.

You’re going to have a hard time convincing us that putting in “just any” republican is better than any democrat. I’ve seen what “just any” republican can do in eight years, and I’m having none of it this time around.

If we’re not the party of conservatism, then be open about it. The rest of us will trot off to some other venue. I’ve been voting for thirty-eight years, have only voted once for a candidate other than a republican for President, and only did it then because I realized our immigration was out of control and we needed to do something about it.

Look what my votes have gained us, a democrat administration in sheeps clothing. I’m tired of the 1/8th conservatives we’ve been nominating. I’m not 1/8 conservative, and I’ll no longer vote for someone who is.

In reality the number of people who will sit home on Election Day out of spite or a misguided attempt to practice adherence to their particular conception of conservative orthodoxy is really quite low, no matter what they claim. For those of us who deal in reality and recognize that politics by nature involves compromise, we’ll go with the best option we have, as it is always better than allowing our opponents to make our choices for us.

The party has already moved irretrievably leftward, but if we separate the wheat from the chaffe we will never survive.

He is certainly acting like a liberal. At the least, he is demonstrating a hatred for conservatism and liberty on this issue.

Huckabee is yet another Arkansas liberal, more so than Hillary. So why are we better off with him? If the GOP tells me F U, then I’ll throw that F U right back in its face.

So people who think you should vote for the lesser of two evils (ie... a RINO over Dem) are now “DU plants”???

Some of you guys are really losing it here...

>> You shove your damned liberal RINO down our throat for the nomination and you'll already disenfranchise us Conservatives. <<

The problem with the Fredheads is they drunk the "Brigager Kool-aid" the Pat Buchanan followers cooked up during the 2000 election, and now believe any Republican on the planet whose name isn't "Fred Thompson" qualifies as a "damned liberal RINO" (even those with a lifetime voting record much further right than Fred ever was)

He is certainly acting like a liberal

No. He said he preferred a straight conservative.

But he is not willing for Her Grossness to prevail.

That's far from a liberal position.

Oh come on, Rudy is an (R). Now, don’t you feel sorry for saying that? /s

Democrats are 8/8ths liberal marxists. Most republicans these days are 1/8ths conservative. What we wind up with is 15/16ths of the voters voting for people who support the same policies, and then our 7/8ths who think it’s okay to vote for liberals as long as they have an (R) after thier name, wonder why the nation doesn’t move to the right.

Folks, Hunter or Thompson. Get it? Evidently not.

<< Basic math. Does it matter if you choose A or B when A=B???????? >>

numbersusa.org gives a report card on the immigration policies & records of candidates in both parties.

In no case do the A’s look like the B’s.
