Answer to 1: Only two--one true; one false; one of the Lamb (Jesus); one of the devil

Answer to 2: 1 Nephi 14:10 clearly says "two churches only." Not 1500 or 2000 or 7000 or whatever. Two. 1 Nephi 14:9 tells of an "abominable church...whose foundation is the devil."
Question 3: According to LDS leaders/commentators' opinion, is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints the "church of the lamb?"
Answer to 3: Yes, which leaves the Christian church at-large to be the "abominable church...whose foundation is the devil." (For further confirmation, see Bruce McConkie, LDS apostle, Mormon Doctrine)
Question 4: Where did Orson Pratt get this term of "whore" from in applying it to the Christian church at large?
Answer to 4: From the Book of Mormon, especially the following two verses: "abominable church...whore of all the earth" (2 Nephi 28:18); and "whore of all the earth" (2 Nephi 10:16)
Question 5: Where did Orson Pratt derive his concept of a great whore church (the Catholic church) that would have "harlot daughters" (the Protestant church)?
Answer to 5: From Joseph Smith himself, as found in LDS "scripture" (& elsewhere). I refer you, for example, to "that great church, the mother of abominations" (D&C 88:94).
Question 6: To this very minute, does the LDS church consider that both the D&C and the Book of Mormon to be the Word of God, to be revelations of God, to be the standard of God for doctrines, for beliefs, for creeds, for worldviews?
Answer to 6: Yes, these are not mere commentaries, opinions, or sermons.
Question 7: Is the Book of Mormon absolutely rife with this obsession of calling the non-Mormon church to be putrid in God's eyes? And do we know that this was some "great" Church that had direct linkage to control of the early Scriptures (the Bible)?
Answer to 7: Yes on both counts. The KJV word "abomination" is used repetitively to describe the non-Mormon church. 1 Nephi 13:6 & 2 Nephi 6:12 both call it a "great & abominable church." D&C 29:21 references it as an "abominable church" & D&C 88:94 calls it a "great church, the mother of abominations" (D&C 88:94). [Also, see references above to "whore" "of all the earth."] 1 Nephi 13:32 accuses this church of censorship: "parts of the gospel kept back by that abominable church” (1 Nephi 13:32). This last reference can only be a reference to the great historical church.

No, the fact that Romney hasn't distanced himself from such comments is "sick." And worse, the fact that Romney's ancestor only got these comments from reading the Book of Mormon & D&C & from listening to "prophets" like Smith & Brigham Young is even "sicker."
