(IsraelNN.com) Police have arrested a 17-year-old Arab youth with Israeli citizenship for involvement in an international group of hackers dedicated to damaging Israeli websites. The group of hackers includes members from Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Turkey, and other Muslim countries, and police suspect that other Arabs with Israeli citizenship are involved as well. The group has attacked numerous Israeli sites, including websites belonging to political parties and sports forums, causing millions of shekels in damage.
The Israeli youth was arrested after an 18-month investigation. The young mans mother attempted to hide his personal computer when police arrived at the house, but the computer was found, and investigators found additional evidence of the teens criminal activity. The teen will be charged with several serious computer-related crimes.
Glad they got him. Hope they put him away from computers for a long time.
Ditto.
Actually, the really interesting thing about Palis using computers is that they aren’t calling for the women to be stoned to death who pose nude for on-line pictures.
For that matter, they aren’t calling for the death to those who post pictures of boys being sodomized by horses, etc.
Which is to say, what they are condoning online is quite different from how they behave in public. One wonders if the internet will cause a culture shift...
Sounds like they don't appreciate their Israeli citizenship. Jail them first and then deport the whole family back to whatever Arab hellhole they came from.
