It’s climate change, not global warning. Remember: “climate change”.

"In 2005, a Canadian Greenpeace representative explained “global warming can mean colder, it can mean drier, it can mean wetter.” In other words, all weather variations are evidence for global warming. I can't make this stuff up"

Thats the key. The "faithful, who want to believe this myth of their own making for their own selfish political purposes will see what they wish to see. The Liberal media can be counted on to ignore scientific evidence to the contrary and endlessly promote the big lie. After all, those are lies in service of the bigger Liberal truth, so it's OK.

For Libs, any lie or misdeed is acceptable in the pursuit of their coming Liberal nirvanah. Gosh, if only THEY were in power then they could force us all to live as they wish us to, and the world would be instant Liberal perfection. There would no longer be global warming, no poverty, no ice storms and never a discouraging word, because they would stuff those attempting to speak their minds contrary to Lib orthodoxy into mental institutions like Putin is doing in Russia now. Of course, it would all be for our own good.

I believe that we will have 5-10 years of the coldest temperatures on record. Why?

God hates idiots and Gore is the king of idiots...

The ice storm last week killed over 40 people in the mid-west, thousands were still out of power yesterday, and winter will not start until next week. Where are Algore and the UN climate “experts” with their hot air when you need them?

South America this year experienced one of its coldest winters in decades. In Buenos Aires, snow fell for the first time since the year 1918. Dozens of homeless people died from exposure. In Peru, 200 people died from the cold and thousands more became infected with respiratory diseases. Crops failed, livestock perished, and the Peruvian government declared a state of emergency.
What the author fails to realize is that Global Warming causes Global Cooling and that all those deaths are a direct result of all that carbon building up!

And this is no joke.

I'm totally serial!

It does not matter to a lib.

We’ve had a bunch of above normal temps this year.

The libs will just “randomly” pick a number of similar locations to “prove” that this year continues the warming trend.

If you think any of the preceding facts can falsify global warming, you're hopelessly naive. Nothing creates cognitive dissonance in the mind of a true believer. In 2005, a Canadian Greenpeace representative explained “global warming can mean colder, it can mean drier, it can mean wetter.” In other words, all weather variations are evidence for global warming. I can't make this stuff up. - David Deming is a geophysicist, an adjunct scholar with the National Center for Policy Analysis, and associate professor of Arts and Sciences at the University of Oklahoma.

The Arctic is refreezing at record rates and the Antarctic ice pack is larger than 1979. Burn more wood and petrochemicals and demand tax credits for 8 bangers!

The arthur David Deming is a geophysicist. That's the problem right there! David Deming is not a graduate student of the Goracle School of Climate Theology.

The punch line of this article is in the final two paragraphs:

If you think any of the preceding facts can falsify global warming, you're hopelessly naive. Nothing creates cognitive dissonance in the mind of a true believer. In 2005, a Canadian Greenpeace representative explained “global warming can mean colder, it can mean drier, it can mean wetter.” In other words, all weather variations are evidence for global warming. I can't make this stuff up.

Global warming has long since passed from scientific hypothesis to the realm of pseudo-scientific mumbo-jumbo.

Some excerpts from the mid 1970s Global cooling concerns. - Tom

Newsweek-April 28, 1975

The Cooling World
There are ominous signs that the Earth’s weather patterns have begun to change dramatically and that these changes may portend a drastic decline in food production– with serious political implications for just about every nation on Earth. The drop in food output could begin quite soon, perhaps only 10 years from now.snip

The evidence in support of these predictions has now begun to accumulate so massively that meteorologists are hard-pressed to keep up with it.snip

Climatologists are pessimistic that political leaders will take any positive action to compensate for the climatic change, or even to allay its effects. They concede that some of the more spectacular solutions proposed, such as melting the Arctic ice cap by covering it with black soot or diverting arctic rivers, might create problems far greater than those they solve. But the scientists see few signs that government leaders anywhere are even prepared to take the simple measures of stockpiling food or of introducing the variables of climatic uncertainty into economic projections of future food supplies. The longer the planners delay, the more difficult will they find it to cope with climatic change once the results become grim reality.

Global temps have been stagnant, or actually declining slightly since 2000.

Among folks who haven't drunk the Kool-Aid, some think we may be headed into a little ice age type event.
