CBS News must be amazed that someone would apologize so quickly.

"One of the most common misunderstandings about LDS doctrine is that we believe Jesus and Lucifer to be brothers.
This is a true belief among Latter-day Saints. However, oddly enough, the critics never explain the rest of LDS doctrine which states our belief in "ALL" spirits being brothers and sisters."
Mormons don't believe Jesus and Lucifer are brothers. They believe Jesus and Lucifer and other spirits are all spirit brothers.
Whatever that means.

On NBC's "Today" show, Romney said "attacking someone's religion is really going too far." I guess it depends on the religion. Al Gore's pagan religion is fair game, and to be honest, so would that of a Wahabi Muslim.

Uh...if the apology was genuine, then is the article retracted? Or will it still be published? Just wondering.

Guess we’ll all find out whether Huckabee is teflon or not, pretty soon. :)

Oh, wahhhh.
But it's true.
Gee whiz, if he can't stand up to a mild question such as this, he's CLEARLY not fit to lead in time of war.
Someone might REALLY hurt his feelings!

Proved to me Hucka is just too dumb to be President. Maybe it’s not dumbness, but a sure lack of political instinct to say such a stupid thing as that.

Well I won’t apologize. Mormonism is a cult. Read Walter Martin’s books on the subject. If you aren’t interested move on to the next post. I don’t reply when there is no doubt I’m right.

“’Who will redeem the earth, who will go forth and make the sacrifice for the earth and all things it contains?’ The eldest son said: ‘Here am I;’ but he did not say ‘send me.’ But the second one, which was ‘Lucifer, son of the morning,’ said, ‘Lord, here am I, send me, I will redeem every son and daughter of Adam and Eve that lives on the earth,...”

The Eldest Son in the above is Jesus. I can send you another passage that expounds on this. It sure sounds like brothers to me.

I listened to Glenn Beck this morning. He was talking about this.
He said Huckabee said Mormons aren’t Christian.
Do you know if Huck said that?

My, ex cathedra and patronizingly insulting at the same time!
No, I think I’ll continue to talk about the bigot.
BTW, he’s a dumb bigot if he tipped his poison to a NYTimes reporter. Should have kept the coded language among his jerks.
