Springs gunman fires on parishioners

COLORADO SPRINGS — David Lee walked from New Life Church after services Sunday and thought the popping sounds he heard were caused by a backfiring car.
Then he saw a figure dressed in black walking slowly and methodically outside of the church with a large rifle in his hands, firing one shot after another.
“He was just walking and shooting,” said Lee, 23, who plays piano at the church.
Lee took a close look at the person to see if he could recognize who it was. He didn’t.
He did noticed that the shooter’s pockets were bulging with what looked like shotgun shells and that the gunman looked to be wearing something like bullet-proof vest.
Lee ran.
The gunman shot five people, killing one. A New Life security team member fired back and killed the gunman, who police have yet to identify.
Late Sunday, police were using a robot to determine whether the man had a bomb strapped to his body.......

That article says a witness saw bulging pockets on the shooter that may have been filled with shotgun shells. That would explain the pellet wound that the associate pastor had in an interview I saw earlier.
Description of perp being white, around 20, and skinny, wearing black. Sounds very similar to the mission school shooter.
Wow. I can’t believe a couple of the comments on that site, attached to that article you linked to. It just makes the whole thing even more sad, and it makes me realize there really is a big spiritual battle going on.
