COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — At least four people were shot outside of a Colorado Springs church on Sunday, but it was not immediately known whether the shootings were related to an earlier shooting about 70 miles away, authorities said.
True, but way back when most universities started out as a place for preparing its students to enter the pastoral field. What a long long way off the mark those same institutions have gone!
I hope it’s more random than group planned....it does seem, though, that at least a couple men/guys were involved. I hope it remains limited to that number.
I’d like to know who the shooter was, I’d like to know the motive...if they can find one. Then we can dismiss the media’s blaming the shooting on the anger of the shooter being denied a place to stay for the night. The media’s blaming the victims in Arvada at this point, for making the guy angry. If the two shootings turn out to be connected, if the guy has a gripe with Christians, and that was his motive, then those things need to be reported, not swept under the rug, so to speak.
Well, I was listening to Fox yesterday, so maybe I need to change to MSNBC.

this morning on Good morning America they interviewed a witness - a young woman that saw what happened. She said that he started shooting into a van that a family had just entered into after leaving the church. He stood right next to her car and she was ducking down, couldn’t find her keys. He was just firing into that van trying to kill the family inside. All at once she said her keys just appeared and I guess she was able to drive off.
Pretty sick, shooting at an unarmed woman and children.

I am suspicious of their reasoning too. Why keep the name quiet? Is there more to learn (for the police) by keeping it quiet? Are they looking for accomplices? Are they trying to determine the motive?

On FoxNews site, if you look at their video of the story you’ll see what was being reported. They always mention the guy was looking for shelter.
You can go to the end of the report, and Banderas starts her line about the guy was turned away.

Let’s assume this is true (that he was seeking shelter; it isn’t true, but lets assume it is so).
Is the MSM saying that the natural response to being denied a place to stay is to gun people down?
Can someone give me a quick synopsis to date as to the Identity of the dead gunman, has the 2nd gunman been caught or was there a second gunman at all and are the reports of explosives true?
ABC radio news in the car this morning didn’t report the gunman’s name, which leads me to believe he is a member of the protected class.

Path to 9/11 was criticized heavily in the media and among politicians for its 'inaccuracies' and negative portrayal of Bill Clinton's administration.
The Youth With A Mission organization, some of its members and its founder, Loren Cunningham, have been linked to various anti-gay organizations and leaders. Cunningham, in his book Making Jesus Lord: The Dynamic Power of Laying Down Your Rights, called the idea of gay marriage "extending moral wrongs as legal rights". A flyer posted in San Francisco earlier this year by RickRoss.com accused Youth With A Mission of "repeated harassment" of gays, according to SFIST.com.
..her brother in law was shot in the stomach, and his two children, 18 and 15 were shot....the 18 yr old son died and the 15 yr old daughter is in critical condition but her brother will survive.

Colorado is a shall issue state, concealed carry permits cannot be denied if you have no criminal background and pass the course on gun safety/shooting etc. I believe that happened around the time of columbine but I dont know if it was before or after
I know people with concealed carry and it used to be you had to have special clearance from your local sheriff before we became a shall issue state.
