Honestly, it’s hard to say at this point.
Rudd intends to pull some Australian troops out of Iraq, but he’ll leave most of our troops in theatre.
He also may boost our numbers in Afghanistan.
He’s tried to give the impression to Australian voters, that he’s going to pull out more than checking his actual policies suggests he plans to do.
In my view, he’s having to cater to the anti-American, anti-war elements of his party, far more than he’d like to. So I’m not sure where he will go once elected.
thanks for the quick analysis.. makes me feel a bit better... I think.. certainly would have like to see a STRONG ally in the War on Terror.. all politics aside the War on Terror is VITAL to our very SURVIAL .. period.. sadly the left just chooses not to ADMIT it.. and is unwilling to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to win it !!... but deep down in their bleeding hearts I think they KNOW it... that’s my analysis in a nut shell
