Immigration is the issue Republicans can win on, if they take it seriously. Tax increases too.

“Newt wants senators to try to get an amendment on a bill banning states from offering driver’s licenses to those who are in the country illegally.”

To heck with that, it would take too long.

Start by jailing the ones aiding and abetting these criminals who overstay their visas or just invade.

Hillary! and the Democrats are unalterably committed to voting rights for Illegal Immigrants. This is an integral part of their strategy, and they cannot afford for it not to happen. It is the Republican's job to point this out the the rest of the voters, whenever possible.

If the Democrats are going to try to establish the Mother of All Vote Frauds, the Republicans should make them pay a political price.

Don’t start popping corks just yet. HitLIARY is slimey and as dangerous as she ever was. The traitors at the MSM will play all of this down to ensure that her coronation takes place on schedule. After all, they have a huge investment in kowtowing to and giving a pass to anything Clinton to start telling the truth about her now.

And, think of the loss to their credibility . . . . . . . . . Oh, the Humanity!!!!!!!

(Short version - it ain’t over ‘til it’s over. And it ain’t over!)

Newt forgets that most people aren’t as astute as him and that very very few dems can even see reality.

El Rushbo and Newt have been way out on their earlier prediction of 80-20 Hillay victory. This election is still a year away and will tighten considerably. The numbers, will be consistent with Bush/Gore and Bush/Kerry, no matter who gets the Pubbie nomination.

The perfect TV add against Hillary would be to run a clip of her saying her qualifications included revamping the Arkansas school system. That resulted in the schools going from 49th to 50th in the nation.

Concur. Also controlling spending, eliminating "earmarks", seriously addressing ethics issues relating to BOTH houses of Congress and reviewing the existing mountain of useless legislation to eliminate redundant laws and implement a "no new law without eliminating an old law" policy. If all of the laws currently on the books in America were actively enforced, we would be the most oppressed, over-regulated nation on earth (and WISHING we could live somewhere like Iran where they would, comparitively, have more freedom if all our laws were enforced equally) - NOT the "land of the free"!!!

To all those “only Rudy can beat Hillary” types:
I’ve said all along that she’s a horrible debater. And in a democrat debate she’s amongst friends. Wait until she gets in front of a pubbie with any kind of spine.

ANY republican can beat her (if they want to).

This election is still a year away . . . .

The general election, yes! But the primaries are only about 4 months away. Once the primaries are over, the candidates are, essentially, set for the general election and we will know who the candidates are by spring.

Rush and Newt's prediction of an 80-20 Hillary win applies to the primaries, NOT the general election. The general election is still up for grabs, IMO.

Maybe now with Mel gone. But its hard to trot GW out to campaign stops now with this on the front burner.

The Drive Bys are now assisting in the take down of Missus Clinton because they know she can’t win the general.

Look for John Edwards to be the nominee unless Al Gore gets in. It might be too late for that as 60% of the votes are on or before Feb 5.

The more exposure she gets, the worse it becomes for her. With this exposure people stop associating her with Bill, and start seeing her for who she really is. And this poor “picked-on” woman is going to have a very hard time convincing the male population that she could lead them.
