Fred would do much better if he got rid of the “uh’s”...

He did better in this one than the first one. I think debate prep may be why he disappeared this last week. And he really picked up the pace.

I thought he mustered facts well and was organized. Not up to Rudi's professional debater level of preparedness but markedly improved.

It's not too late for Fred, no matter what anyone says.

Rush Limbaugh is the king of "uh" and it hasn't hurt him any. I was pleased with Fred in the debate and I'm glad to see some positive press among the hit pieces that always arrive after one of his appearances.

If Fred appeared to be slick and too polished, his critics would say it was because he was an actor. Had he flashed as big as some hoped right out of the shoot, they say he was just a flash in the pan. The truth is, many agree that he seems genuine and real. People tend to believe that he means what he says and, because he has been consistently conservative, there is no reason to doubt him.

Fred is still the clear choice among the members and lurkers here and I think, when the field narrows, most will move their support to him.

Slow and steady wins the race.
