MAF has done some great things, but now that two of its “faces” have decided to get involved in attacking an incumbent conservative, pro-troops Republican Congressman, I’m going to find it difficult to get excited about these events.

Sadly, I'm with you on this one, Dan! He's my Congressman and the unwarranted attacks from both the two "faces" in MAF, along with the Bush Admin's DOJ confirm once again that I was right to formally withdraw from the Republican Party. This includes the former KFBK shock jock talk host with his carefully crafted audio political hit piece.

This demonstration is good, but the cheap shot political expediency attack is despicable and beyond the pale!!!

I’m going to find it difficult to get excited about these events.

This has nothing to do with the other situation.

That's fine if you want to not have anything to do with events such as this.

Bear in mind this event is about supporting a Marine Recruiting Center.

This event is not about MAF, it is about hundreds of American Patriots speaking out for the Marines.

There is a thread for the topic you mentioned.

I don't understand how your assessment of what Move America Forward did today has any bearing whatsoever on the fact that Mark Williams and Deborah Johns privately (meaning as private citizens and not in any capacity with Move America Forward), Eric Egland for Congress.

Egland served in Iraq and Afghanistan, so it's not surprising that some of the people associated with MAF will back him. Some will back Doolittle.

But the in-fighting between Egland and Doolittle supporters means little-to-nothing to me compared to the face of the battle between the anti-American, anti-military forces of Code Pink, MoveOn.org, George Soros, et. al and the pro-troop efforts of the coalition of groups including Gathering of Eagles, Free Republic, Eagles Up, Move America Forward, Protest Warriors, and many many many many others.

Egland v. Doolittle is not relevant to what happened today in Berkeley.
