I was asked about abuse by a nurse when I was about to have my last child by C-section.
When my husband was asked about it in the emergency room, we both burst out laughing. The medical personnel in the room were not happy with us.
A good friend of mine and his wife have an 8 year old boy. He brought home a memo from his school (Frederick County, VA) informing them that the school is taking a ‘survey’ of students as part of a drug prevention program. They will be asking my friends son how much he knows about drugs and such.
The school is turning the kids into snitches and informers. It's scary.
The way to counter this is to teach your kids to tell the school if they have any questions about their parents or home life, then they should ask the parents.
