The radical left activist group, Media Matters (funded by George Soros and others) has launched an all-out smear attack against Rush Limbaugh. And the liberal media are shamelessly promoting the assault.
Their goal? To force Rush off the air. Unless our MRC Action Team takes a stand right now, they could actually succeed.
Here is what is happening:
Media Matters is claiming that Rush called any soldier that opposes the war a "phony soldier." In fact, Rush was referencing an anti-war activist who falselyand despicably passed himself off as an Army Ranger and Purple Heart winner.
Rush was calling the phony soldier a "phony soldier"!
MSNBC willfully echoed the liberal attack campaign against Rush -- despite the obvious spin and deception by Media Matters. CBS's online "Public Eye" then joined in. And now, liberals in Congress are trying to get Rush removed from Clear Channel radio.

Dear Ms. Dollinger,
Recent news has it that Clear Channel Media is contemplating taking Rush Limbaugh off the air because of a bogus accusation trumped up by the leftwing organization Media Matters. Media do matter Ms. Dollinger, and that is why it would be unconscionable and no doubt economically foolish for Clear Channel to take Mr. Limbaugh’s excellent voice and message off the air.
I can sympathize with Democrat liberals who have found it difficult to get their message out via the airwaves, which is why they’re so intent on manufacturing grievances against the likes of Don Imus, Bill O’Reilly, and now Rush Limbaugh.
But Clear Channel should not bow to their impotence. If your channel really stands for free speech, it is important that you keep the debate going and keep Rush Limbaugh broadcasting for all the world to hear.

Harry Reid is a disgrace and a puke punk to boot. He disgraces the Senate. He should be removed from office. He should apologize to this country immediately. The tird, Tom Harkin, should be removed also for what he said. He is a Soros bitch along with Reid, Pelosi, Reid, Durbin and the rest of that pack.
Rush will make fools of these fools. That really makes them double fools. They are ready for their fall.

It has come to my attention Rush Limbaugh may be taken off the air. I find this a terrible thing as the organization involved, Mediamatters.org is an organization that has been proven to exaggerate it’s claims in the past and is an organization hell bent on removing any conservative voice from the airwaves. I believe it would be a terrible financial decision as well has ratings decision for Clear Channel to remove Rush. I guarantee you, none of Rush’s “dittoheads” are tuning away based on a comment that frankly, we all understood. Please don’t cave in to special interest groups, don’t let groups that don’t listen to Mr. Limbaugh’s show dictate how Clear Channel does business. If free speech is valued at Clear Channel, you will not cave in.

The poseur in question (McBeth sp?) did not even complete basic training.....he was never anything but a trainee, NOT EVER a Soldier. Couldn’t cut it....not good enough.
So besides being right, Rush is technically correct as well.
Imus, the liberal, should not be in this group, he got into trouble for saying something stupid. Rush and O'Reilly, not liberals, are being attacked with lies when what they actually said was reasonable and truthfull.

Good luck, these clowns have been trying to get Rush off the air since 1991. I’m all for Soros wasting his time and money.
Look at Rush’s ratings and, most importantly, the amount of money he has made for his parent company for nearly 20 years. Now look at the ratings and how much money the competitor, Air America, has made. Their ratings were in the dumper from the beginning and they went bankrupt in less than 2 years. The business case is a slam-dunk.
Even if the president of Clear Channel took up a crack habit and ran Rush off, he’d be back with somebody else inside a week. This is much ado about nothing. Radio stations and their parent companies have had their switchboards lit up by angry anti-Rush people a week after Rush went on the air and it hasn’t let up. He survived the loss of his TV show in the early 90s, he survived being kicked off TV football commentary, and he survived a drug addiction scandal. Why would Clear Channel run him now?
