Here we go, again:
Richard Warman Attacks FD
Tonight we answered a knock on our door and we were served with papers from Richard Warman (famous human rights complaint filer).
Below is the text of the papers were received. Apparently Mr. Warman is planning to take us to court over some of the comments he found when he was self-googling.
We would really appreciate the help of those of you who are gifted in online research. Any of the comments he is complaining about that can be proven to be true would, I believe, be dismissed in court.

If this jackass can use the law to silence Free Dominion, someone else can do it here. Pay attention, folks.
Would you ping your “Canada” lists? Much obliged!
ping for later return, must have coffee now.

Pass it on.
Appreciate your looking- I don’t need coffee, now- my blood’s boiling already...
OK, this is in Canada, and I freely admit that I don’t know much about Canadian law.
In the US, though, the line between ‘opinion’ and libel / slander is pretty wide. Where’s the line in Canada?
The ability to speak freely in Canada is constantly under attack.
This is but one example.

My understanding is that it is more like English law- the standard of proof is somewhat lower than American.
However, this jerk is largely basing his pending complaint on what others wrote, that he took umbrage with.
Well doesn't this lawsuit prove that?

... this news has been picked up in the blogosphere ALREADY!!

Below is a link to a speech made by Warman to the ARA describing how he attacks the people that he goes after. It's kind of chilling.
This speech has already been used as evidence in a court case:

Many thanks- let’s see how this Law Jackal likes being exposed to public scrutiny and ridicule.
>>>>14. States that I counselled members of the group Anti-Racist Action group to commit an assault against David Icke because I didn’t agree with what he was writing.
>>>>>15. States that I have threatened the safety of other people on many occasions.
If proven as false, could be a problem.
My pleasure.

If Free Dominion has the same disclaimer as FR at the bottom of each screen, and assuming that the words were posted as part of an article or as comments by posters, then I would think that he could sue only to have the posts removed. But I am not a lawyer in either the US or in Canada.
The phraseology and flow of conversation should also matter, in that they may indicate that the comments were opinion. But again, I am no lawyer.
JMHO.
Richard Warman is a public joke. Maybe he will never get the joke. But I hope his solicitors read this thread, realize that their client is a pathetic loser, and drop him like a hot rock.
I say that as a "barrister and solicitor" for forty years, who has occasionally dropped clients who were self-desctructive and just plain embarrassing to be around.
Congressman Billybob
LMAO! Thanks!
How true. Reminds me of the Muzzies saying that they are the religion of peace and if you don’t like it we’ll cut your head off.
I suspect this little popinjay won't like the attention he is going to draw from this ill-considered action.
