That would be fine with me.

I think that an appropriate “conservative” VP would help the ticket alot if Guiliani wins the nomination. BTW, how did Guiliani trample the constitution?

I truely believe, out of the current announced Republican candidates, Rudy is the only one that can win the White House. Conservatives like myself (not meaning all Conservatives) will hold our noses and pull the Rudy lever in order to keep Hillary out. Even Washington had to allow several hundred of his volunteers to freeze to death and desert at Valley Forge in order to recapture Philadelphia.
"When in Rome ...", Rudy had to do what NYC needed at the time. When in the White House, I think he will do what the Nation needs at the time, i.e., turning back to Conservative principals.

As I've said before. If the children want to take their football and go home because they don’t get their dream candidate then we will deserve what we get when fatso wins and the terrorists begin the attacks in earnest. Not to mention the attacks on the economy that will also begin.
Using principle as an excuse for being terminally shortsighted is great as long as you have a death wish.

Whenever I think of whether I would support Rudy over Hitlery in a presidential election, I am reminded of Winston Churchill’s words when asked how he could possibly sign a treaty with Stalinist Russia during WW11. I believe he answered by saying that he would look with favor on a pact with the devil if it meant the defeat of Nazi Germany. In other word’s if it came down to a choice between Rudy or Hitlery - go Rudy!

I for one will never get “behind” the gun grabbing cross dresser. However, since I am no longer allowed to be a Republican according to W and Mel Martinez I guess it doesn’t really matter.
BTW I do not think Rudy is electable. His negatives in the West are stronger than anyone is talking about and I still question how strong his support is in the South. I am all too familiar with too bad choices for President.

The Rooty campaign loves to play with gullible nincompoops....... Oh man, we gotta get that on a tee shirt. LOL. The Rudesters are engaged in religious cleansing of the Repub party....with an emphasis on throwing social conservatives off the party boat.
Religious-haters will do anything to make themeselves "feel superior."
Rudy's entire campaign operation resembles a self-help program in "Achieving Self-Esteem Through The Political System."

So he pulls a few votes from the Dems and makes a lot of Republicans stay home that day. This wins? I think not!
I would stay home that day. If the Republican nominee is somebody who’s going to parade hand in hand with the Democrats, taking America down the road to ruin, he’s going to do it without my sanction.

Yeah but Rudy will turn a lot of Dem’s who don’t like Hillary (but would hold their noses to vote for her) his way...especially Democrat Males!

I will never be part of electing an abortionist to the White House. FR will never be used to promote Rudy. Y’all are going to have to find a new forum if you start trying.

Like it or not, the GOP should get behind Rudy 100% irrespective of what the wider spectrum of Conservatism thinks Staying home or voting 3rd party punishes the leftward movement of the GOP. Electing RINOs rewards it.
If you want a second liberal party option, why don't you start your own instead of corrupting the nominally conservative one?

Hillary has had no ill effects from anything Rooty has done. In fact, Rootys attention grabbing on the Patraeus issue took the attention off the one BIG PROBLEM the Hildabeast would like to end. The Hsu scandal. Emphasis added.

Now, here is an interesting thought experiment. Suppose you eschew Guilani because of his opinions that are unlikely to come up and instead elect Thompson whose solution to pressing issues is bipartisanship, won’t that be the revenge of the RINOS?
