“Yeah — can you imagine having to be the person to sing at his funeral?”

I would guess, or should I say hope, that Jose Carreras and Placido Domingo (from the three tenors concerts) would sing at his service. Plus maybe Sting, Zucchero, and/or Bono from his Pavarotti and Friends concerts. And Andrea Bocelli who mimics him in style and with the signature scarf around his neck, like Pavarotti always had. I should think his funeral service will be a great festival of song in his honor. I hope it is televised here in the U.S.

What a life. What a voice. What a loss.

I hope Bocelli sings at the funeral. Pavarotti discovered him singing in a restaurant in some obscure Italian village. He mentored Bocelli to fame.
