It bears little resemblance (the Pit Bull Terrier) to what is being discussed here. I believe that is what is being discussed here, unless you're referring to what is known as a "bully-style" pit bull which seems to be a hybrid of pit bull, American Bulldog, and possibly Bullmastiff dogs.

There is no name for this ‘breed’ of overly aggressive dogs. They most closely resemble Pits. The name does not matter.

Whatever the “bully” pits are, I feel that their body structure does away with what I see as the good qualities of a pit bull. APBTs aren’t supposed to be anywhere near the size of a “bully” and the gigantic head and super-short legs of a bully makes it look weird to me. Just my 2 cents.
