What I read, then, is more specific orders to the superior officer, and not evidence that a set of written orders is actually a fake, as you appear to be contending. Basically, Scott is being told to have his men ready to go to reinforce. Fox is being told to attempt to land supplies, and only to attempt to land reinforcements in the event of opposition.

MY orders right now are to head out for the long weekend, landing supplies of beer and BBQ items at home. I do not expect this to be opposed, but I'm ready to fight my way in if necessary. See you back here on Tuesday.
