With the amount of active and retired Army on my block it would be a little hot for looters turning the corner looking for easy pickings.

Most are Korean War and VN vets. I don’t think a gang of looters is going to strike much fear in this bunch.

Of course the younger active guys from the recent fight would have to brush the older guys up on modern house to house fighting. Old farts might be slow but their aim is still good. :-)

Okay just out of curiosity, when the inmates get loose you and which army are going to stop these badboys from taking Hardastarboard's stuff?

And it won't be just a dozen or so gangbangers. Think about thousands of these hardcore felons turned loose on your community. Then a fate worse than death occurs. Geraldo Rivera shows up.

I often wondered how much land would be needed to prevent an attack. If I were a looter and I thought that you had someting that I wanted, I might just lob a gasoline bomb on you house and shoot the people inside as they ran out.
Dogs would be shot and eaten of course before attacking.
Getting close enough would be hard if there were more than a few acres of flat and treeless land around the house.
