An illegal immigrant will spent the rest of his life in prison for his role in the brutal beating and rape of a Limestone County Teenager last summer.
Noel Darwin Hernandez pleaded guilty Friday in a Freestone County Courtroom for the June 2006 attack.
Investigators said Hernandez and Javier Guzman Martinez, who's also serving a life sentence, approached an 18-year-old girl outside a strip mall in Mexia.
According to police, they later ran her off Highway 171, then kidnapped, raped and stabbed her for two hours, before leaving her for dead near Coolidge.
Hernandez’s trial was scheduled to begin Monday, after a Limestone County judge declared a mistrial earlier this month.
Nothing in the written report or audio file mentioned the current condition of the victim. A prayer is warranted.

If a country allows its nationals to commit crimes en masse in another country, I would consider such crimes, especially if they are of a horrific nature, to be acts of war on the part of the first country.

I have seen federal numbers for illegals held in jail ranging from 19.3% to 27% of the federal prison population.

In smaller cities the FBI will post the nationalities of the murderers. About 25% of the most wanted are illegals wanted for murder. Up until recent stories about crime in LA posted by the LA Times--the pictures included the nationality of the murderers. They were all foreign nationals and mostly Mexican.

There are currently no exact numbers on the number of Americans killed by illegals. Part of the reason is that the government deliberately obscures the number. I talked on the phone with the head of statistics for the US Bureau of Prisons. He said his office wasn't allowed to publish the number of illegal alien murderers. Rather they were forced to put legal and non legal residents in the same category. I talked to ICE. They put out detailed numbers on illegal child molestors. However, they put out nothing on illegal murderers.
Part of the reason for the silence on the matter is that there is evidence to suggest that most Americans being killed by illegals are black--as is the suggestion in this LA Times Article.
All that said, it could be argued that if you include the number of illegals in state and local prisons the number of illegals in jail shrinks to 6% of the total prison population. Never the less if you multiply 16692 (the number of americans murdered in 2005) * .06 (illegal alien percent of total prison population) * 4 (the number of years the US has been in Iraq). The result is that more americans (4006) have been killed by illegals than have been killed in the Iraq war.

This is insanity. The most important thing the Federal government HAS to do...the common defense....and they refuse...a judge tells a town they can’t take measures to decrease their problems...Congress laughs and pats themselves on the back while trying to pass a law to allow these criminals to stay and continue their crimes.

I’m surprised they were able to convict this guy. Did he have a taxpayer provided translator during the entire process? Was he able to shield his identity from the victim because of his illegal status? Did this town get permission from Mexico to pass laws against rape and multiple stabbings? What about his poor family, won’t they be “torn apart” by him going to jail? Isn’t it OK for him to commit crimes anyway because he’s hard-working?
