I found so many skeletons in New Mexico I quit counting.......not including that boney little waitress at Amagustos Bar in the south valley that Tijeras Slim liked !

Honestly .....not a rare event at all to find artifacts and evidence of tribal life when out in the boonies. Great place to 4 Wheel and hike. When we did surface clearances for ordnance on old ranges we found many burial grounds, old pottery, tools, .......just a gazillion little things that would just amaze ya .......very beautiful state.

Most foooked up politics on the face of this planet though.........

Now you know I did most of my drinkin' at the Blue Spruce at Central and Lousiana. You're right about the stuff just lying around on the ground, pot shards, etc... from the 1300's. This year we had enough early rain that when the ground plants come up, you can see the outlines of collapsed adobe pueblo's rooms due to the differing soils. Almost like a blueprint on the ground. Saw it at San Marcos up north of Madrid.

I thought you meant you had gone through the closets in the State Capitol in SF.
