15-kilo explosive device discovered near Qalqilya

IDF soldiers identified five Palestinians digging next to the separation fence near Qalqilya. A reserve-army unit arrested the five and took them in for questioning.
A search in the area revealed a 15 kilo (over 33 pounds) was discovered. Sappers have been summoned to handle the device. (Efrat Weiss)

“Mumbai blasts sentencing begins”
ARTICLE SNIPPET: “A court in the Indian city of Mumbai (Bombay) has begun sentencing 100 people for their role in deadly blasts which killed 257 people in 1993.
The first five people sentenced received three years each in prison.
The blasts are believed to have been carried out by one of the city’s notorious underworld crime syndicates, which were then dominated by Muslims.”
