There's a big difference between drinking an unidentifiable substance in a picture on a website, and ACTUALLY getting a ticket/conviction for a DUI. Millersville is out of line, as far as I am concerned -- esp. as she was over the legal drinking age when the pic was snapped.

That having been said, there is a LARGE segment of the current college-aged population that needs to pull their heads out of their asses. Online pictures can follow you forever. In my freshman class, at least three "young ladies" have either posted nekkid pictures of themselves, or a bf has done it for them. Eventually, someone that matters will find them.

I think Millersville is WAY out of bounds by denying her her teaching degree. The DUI thing is a tougher question. I think that hiring a teacher with a recorded DUI conviction is up to the individual school district & it should not be the business of a state teachers’ college to be making this stand. But I can see the other side of the argument.
