I am no fan of Alec Baldwin and despise his political views. However, nobody is perfect and anyone may say things they regret when emotions get the best of them. We have no idea what led up to this, nor do we know what he did to rectify it.

The tragedy in this is that Kim Bassinger leaked this to the press and that the press considers this news. Bassinger obviously has no problem using her daughter and thrusting her into the public eye to get at her husband; that is the real despicable act here.

It is quite possible that Bassinger released the tape to get it on record, for the child’s safety. There is no judge in His right mind that would excuse behavior like Baldwin exhibited.
