Evening, sleuthie.
I’m a short termer at this hour.
I hope I can find interesting material for morning reading. I’ll probably leave out any wisdom from General Zinny :)
Dang..you show that map to a DEM, and they will start apologizing to everyone!!
ah, yes....those pearls of wisdom from Zinny!
Fat Timmah just sat there lapping it up..ugh.
I know that AliVeritas did a “document dump” on the Sunday thread that would make the White House proud...LOL
I am never going to get through all of those links...yikes.
I’ll have to looky at Dat !!...;0)
It would have to be #2.
And, if I had to have a choice between the House and the Senate on the 2nd choice, it would be the House, probably...especially if there were still enough GOPers in the Senate to keep anything from passing with 60 votes.
LOL,,,Hi Txie...;0)
Maliki Government May Fall, Democracy In Action
Inside an article describing Sundays terrible violence in Iraq was this interesting item:
Two officials close to Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr said his followers would quit their six Cabinet posts Monday a move that could leave Prime Minister Nouri al-Malikis already weak administration without enough support to stay in power.
The mechanics would be as follows:
Al-Sadrs six followers on the 37-seat Cabinet would officially withdraw from the government Monday, said Saleh al-Aujaili and Hassan al-Rubaie, members of the Sadrist bloc in parliament. They said al-Sadrs 30 legislators would stay in parliament.
Again, this is Parliamentary democracy in action. If the Government can not stand, it must fall. Maybe a stronger leader can be found.
