which party has the most Conservative members in it.
Given that there are only two parties, that is not saying much. Perhaps the question should be which party tolerates them more.

Michael Savage is a phony. He never stops pushing his books. Not only that, he spends altogether too much time telling his audience about all the university degrees and how brilliant he is.
Which makes it difficult to understand when he gets basic facts wrong....
Like when he fumed and raved that Pres. Bush should have sent in the Louisiana Nat’l Guard after Katrina. Bush doesn’t have the authority to send in the Louisiana Nat’l Guard. That’s under the authority of the state’s governor.
The president can “nationalize” the Guard but only when there is an insurrection. A hurricane is not an insurrection.
When Savage gets basic facts wrong, one can only wonder how he obtained all those degrees.
I stopped listening to him a long time ago.

I listen with a sorta morbid curiosity- when I'm driving and Levin's on a commercial break, or 8-9 when Levin's show is done. It's always good to know what your enemy's saying about you, but you expect the rhetoric from Air America so I don't tune in
A "conservative" with 8 million listeners??? Yep, I'd like to know what lies he's spewing.
"WAR for OIL". What better rally cry do we have from the left? Guess what, Savage has adapted that mantra... that we're in there solely for oil. What a DOLT

“(he)does more damage to our causes than any other non-politician I can think of, because he has the influence to sway people.”
I appreciate this is your view, however is there any documented proof that this guy has damaged your cause?

"I appreciate this is your view, however is there any documented proof that this guy has damaged your cause?" Here's an old list that needs updating, but you will get the picture....
- Provides money to a moonbat AG candidate in a border state
- Routinely hosts Chuck (Chucky Scmuky) Schumer to help damage the GOP
- Routinely calls our fellow American's morons and idiots
- Thinks the multinational corporations conspire with each other
- Thinks the oil companies conspire with each other
- Supports the minimum wage
- Hate Conservative icons like Rush Limbaugh
- Attacks other Conservatives as often or more than Liberals
- Spews hatred and vile towards our Commander in Chief
- Want's Rumsfeld fired
- Claims to be a sort of "Patton" on the War on Terror, but when the Israelis started bombing Lebenon, he turned into Cindy Sheehan
- Routinely asks callers a question, then ignores their answer and continues on manianical rant.
- Called Cheney a liar, and said he didn't believe a word he says, ever.
- Called Bush a liar.
- Said the war in Iraq is purely for profit, get this, so that Haliburton can make money.
- Said there's no difference between the GOP and Dems.
- Called Rick Santorum "Sanitarium", and an idiot.
- Said he deserves most of the credit for the ports deal not going through, and since the GOP didn't give him credit, he won't support them in any way.
- Said it won't be so bad if Dems take over, outside of some minor social changes, nothing else will really change.
- Called this a broken nation with corrupt leadership, making fun of Bush, and his rationale for the war on terror, and war in Iraq.
- Called the GOP "the corrupt, war-mongering GOP"...
- He had a caller who said he was livid with the GOP, but since the Dems are much worse, he pleaded with Savage's listeners to get out and vote... With each sentence, Savage shouted him down.
- He believes that the Clintons and Bush family have developed some sort of consortium and political syndicate together. For the next several years, they will stiff-arm the rest of the political world and alternate family members to the Presidency. Hillary is next, then followed by Jeb.

I still like that ‘routinely hosts Chuck Schumer part.’ The guy was on the show once, perhaps twice. Not exactly routine.

Savage is the precise big-mouthed, semi-intelligent jackass that Leftists convince themselves every conservative is.He's useless for anything other than laughing at.
To: lormand
yeah,
Spews hatred and vile towards our Commander in Chief
Want’s Rumsfeld fired
Claims to be a sort of “Patton” on the War on Terror, but when the Israelis started bombing Lebenon, he turned into Cindy Sheehan
Routinely asks callers a question, then ignores their answer and continues on manianical rant.
Called Cheney a liar, and said he didn’t believe a word he says, ever.
Called Bush a liar.
so he called bush a liar, so what.
Any proof that your cause has been damaged? Has enrollment dropped? Are donations down? Besides just presenting an opinion you do not like, how is this guy a threat?
There are plenty (about 50%) of people out there who were never part of your cause, and never will be. If you are suggesting that this savage character is causing your support to diminish, where are the numbers?
Personally, I doubt the influence of talking heads on the general population, but that’s just me.

"A "conservative" with 8 million listeners??? " If you observe the political leanings of just the Wiener fans here on FreeRepublic, you will see that it is a combination of "Independents", "Libertarians", "Nationalists", John Birch Society members, and other, one-issue groups, but very few, if any, who claim to be Republican. While I agree with probably each issue championed by these groups, I oppose their methods of achieving it.
There is also glowing hypocrisy on their part, because the day after the 06' election, most admitted to voting GOP.

I am hacked off about his comments about Pelosi - supporting her trip to Syria.
As a Jewish person, Savage should be ashamed of what he said yesterday.
P.S. If anyone wants to see how much I have supported Savage’s show in the past, it’s not too hard to do.
Having said that, I am in no way withdrawing suipport from almost all of the issues he has supported on his show.
For example, Presidnet Bush has lost the qualifications necessary to be President, due to his refusal to enforce the border, and due to his determination to create a global new world order superstate that would meld together America, Canada and Mexico.

I voted straight ticket Repub in ‘06. But I also have wanted the GOP to be CONSERVATIVE. No hypocrisy there. I just want the party to be conservative, like it has claimed to be in the past.
