Ronald Reagan was raised in the Disciples of Christ, not the Church of Christ. Even though they are from the same fractions, there is a big difference between the 2.
Reagan, a nominal Catholic, was raised by his mother in the Disciples of Christ denomination. He attended Eureka College which is associated with the Disciples of Christ. The Church of Christ is an offshoot of the Stone-Campbell protestant movement and has the same roots as the Disciples of Christ, as does the United Church of Christ and other independent Christian Churches.
I fail to see how that ties Fred Thompson to racism or sexism.
