I get tired of Rush too, saying there's "no conservative leadership" and how he whines for another Reagan.

I would bet you that if Reagan were president now, he'd be dragged through the mud on FR just as much as GWB--and by the very people that seem to deify him.

You are exactly right, jonny..........because when Reagan WAS President, conservatives dragged him through the mud too.

Just not people like us.

There are many of us who respected and admired Reagan and respect and admire President Bush in the same way............only maybe moreso cause he's cuter. ;)

You don't need to add myths to great men. They stand on their own merits.

Folks either don't know, or choose to forget, that some Republicans were just as brutal toward Reagan in his last couple of years as they are about President Bush now.

It's amazing how easily some conservatives can turn on the folks they previously supported, just because they see it everywhere else.
