LOL!
Your article is inaccurate, to say the least.
Both the Senate and House of Representatives passed the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act
Wrong. They passed the Port Security Bill to which this abominable legislation was attached. There was no debate on the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act.
While Internet gambling is already an illegal activity in the United States
Wrong. Internet gambling is not an illegal activity in the United States.
Sen. Jon Kyl (R-AZ) and Rep. Jim Leach (R-IA) are the chief sponsors of the legislation.
Yes and they both took "campaign contributions" from the horse racing industry to exempt that industry from the law. You can still bet on the ponies online...Christian hypocrisy in action!
They just shredded the constitution with this one.
Yes, they did. The Constitution does not grant the federal government the right to dictate to me how I can spend my money.
Just like those nasty child porn laws
You're certainly obsessed with crotches!
Are you saying that poker players are on the same level as child pornographers?
To repeat...I will not vote for anyone who supports taking a liberty from me.

Better read up a bit more on the history of internet prohibitions on gambling. There were already restrictions in place. Enjoy.
