Thanks for the ping, Ultra Sonic. Bumping this excellent, nearly-year-old but oh-so-timely article.

Great article. Can't wait to see him in debates with the other GOP candidates. No one comes near him in ability and stature.

Oh, so now its a RINO if you don't support the on line gambling industry? Funny, he's probably not a supporter of Larry Flynt either. That Hunter is sure a RINO

It'a a RINO when it supports the taking of a liberty...and you're right, that Hunter sure is a RINO!

Well, it appears that he let the prez "twist" his arm by voting for the prescription drug bill, the biggest expansion of the welfare state since LBJ. This was an extremely close vote and most Republicans sensibly voted against it. Then again, Hunter may sincerely support socialized medicine!

And where in the constitution does it mention pornography and interstate gambling? You'd be dismayed how conservative the fledgling country was after ratification of the Constitution. Yes, I know, free speech, just like gay bathhouses, pedophilia, burning flags at vet's funerals, and urinating in public.

And where in the Constitution does it mention that the federal government has the right to dictate to me how I spend my money?

Same place it mentions that soldiers can't sleep with others of the same sex, that spies have to take an oath of confidentiality, that chasing pages in the the Senate is forbidden, that you can't spray graffiti on the Washington monument, and you can't have kiddie porn.

LOL!
What has any of that got to do with the trashing of the Constitution by those who want to legislate their own particular religious dogma?

How does my spending $10 per week on poker tournaments endanger you?

All mentioned are gross violations of the constitution in your world. As I said earlier, you'd have been appalled at the "gross violations" that our founders promoted.

You do realize, I hope, that if and when Duncan Hunter is perceived as a legitimate candidate with a real chance of winning, the Duncan Hunter lovefest will come to an end and people will start discussing Hunter's close relationship with Duke Cunningham, his love for congressional pork, his vote for McCain-Feingold, his vote for socialized medicine, his votes against congressional reform, his votes for the nanny state, etc.

Duncan Hunter did a splendid job on Bill Bennett's "Morning in America" this A.M.. The man knows what he talks about, and has a succinct delivery that I find very refreshing.

My world consists of poker and the taking of my right to spend my money as I see fit. I didn't mention pornography or homosexuality...you did.

As I said earlier, you'd have been appalled at the "gross violations" that our founders promoted.
You obviously know very little about our founders. The American Revolution was financed by gambling vigorish.

Yep. they might even mention his consistent pro life stands, his OPPOSITION to McCain Feingold, his ardent support for the 2nd Amendment, his votes against embryonic stem cell research and cloning, his unparalleled military expertise, his untouchable ethics, his condemnation of Duke Cunningham's crimes, his unwavering leadership on missile defenses, his consistent support for tax cuts, his consistent opposition to "hate crimes" laws, his recognition of the threat that is communist China, his opposition to poofers in the military and his bitchslapping of Murhta and Kerry and the rest of the treason party.

So have at it.
