Trying to zumbo yourself?

Plenty of people shoot prairie dogs at long distances with their rifles. A .22lr or slingshot are not long distance weapons. Accurized AR's are great for "varmint" hunting and are widely used. For about $1,000 (not counting glass) you (well, not YOU) can get a sub MOA rifle that can accept a 20 round mag (because 30's can cause trouble when prone).

Why give people crap when they've selected what many think is the best rifle for the job?

I've always thought, that people who criticize others on the type of firearm they own or use, are at best, elitist snobs, and at worst, fearful of their fellow citizens. Why else would they care?

I know several people who have firearms that I think are not good choices for their purpose. I would offer my advice if asked, but I would never condescend them.

I'm willing to bet that Dale1 has no idea what MOA is and that he/she has never seen a NRA or CMP highpower rifle match where accurized AR-15's, in the hands of good shooters, hit a circle the size of a mans chest over 90% of the time from 600 yards with iron sights.
