What is "our job" and "our mission?" Not what it was but what it is now? A hundred words or less, please. My eyes glaze over it it's any more than that.
Our job is supporting and protecting a pluralistic, democratic Iraq while combating international muslim-based terrorist organizations. For the last 3 years we and the Iraqis have been doing a great job at that. Iraq has a representative government and the list of international terrorists caught or killed in Iraq is long.
We are knee deep in supporting Iraq's representative democracy while fighting terrorism and confront Al Queida every day. Would you prefer to go back to 2001 and relive 9/11? The same orgainization we're battling in Iraq attacked NYC and Washington 5 years ago. Where have you been? Oh, that's right, watching television.
Look, what we are currently doing is what the Crusades and the Mongol invasion had to do when they slapped the Islamics back into place. Unfortunately, we don't have the non-PC backbone to do it right. The left would scream, but future generations would have peace.
