Agreed, Hunter is the best man in the race.
When it comes to Rudy McRomney, it's more like fourth best, behind Hunter, Tancredo, Brownback, and Gingrich, at least.

I would just like to continue to remind folks how important involvement is. If you like Duncan Hunter's stance, then DON'T LISTEN to naysayers. They seek to instigate a self fulfilling prophecy of discouragement. Yuck!Instead sign up and support Duncan Hunter. If someone else better comes along, there is no dishonor in changing later.

OK, I call myself a vet, but I was only a coastie, no combat experience. Technically i am right, but nothing like my dad, mom, uncles and cousins who have real comabt experience. (mom was a MASH type Nurse in Army boots)

Smart of him to neglect to mention that he's from the legislative branch, given how badly presidential candidates from Congress perform.
I can't see Hunter doing much beyond forcing a more likely candidate to stake out conservative positions, presuming the more likely candidate isn't a conservative to begin with.

I prefer a candidate that doesn't have to "repackage" his positions to make them more attractive to
real conservative voters. Duncan Hunter has been consistent throughout his political career - this means alot to me.
