They are every bit as terrified as the media about Rudy.
All along, they arrogantly proclaimed how America was gladly shifting further and further to the RIGHT. They pretty much always ranted the same mantra; with a "true Conservative" candidate, Blah! Blah! Blah!.....
But this last election proved the opposite. (Of course they will claim it was because those RINOS, Blah! Blah! Blah!)
I love to watch them squirm as reality sets in with every given day. And who knows maybe they'll come up with a new talking point instead of the same tired old stuff that is factually baseless.
Well said! They should have learned from past experience that some of us are not going to throw in the towel. I learned a long time ago not to take them on directly as they keep coming back as we see on here.
We had a rationale discussion going the other night and up pops one of the bashers that tried to disrupt the thread and in the morning they took up their cause totally ignoring a rationale discussion from the late night.
I don't see them squirming at all!
The "single issue conservatives" and/or the "broken glass inactivists" (those RIIO's** who crawled over broken glass in 2006 to stay home and not vote...) are beaming ever more-and-more smug and just hopping out of bed in the morning to type "I told you so" on their favorite blog.
The one thing we can all agree on is that 2006 split the "right" into "we went too far right" and the "we haven't gone right enough."
Hillary, Fonda, Dean, Gore, Edwards etal are all pleased to hear this.
If a couple months out we can't hand together on the meaning/cause of 2006's loss, then we're certainly about to "hang separately."
