the amount of C-sections have skyrocketed because doctors are afraid of this lawsuits.

My daughter had a C and had gall stone problems for a year after. Eventually she had to have her gall bladder removed.

If you have Google Earth, you can go to Chapel Hill and find Old Greensboro Road, just beneath Highway 54 and to the SW of the town. It's just to the east of Neville Road.

It's hard to miss the SWATH they took out of the land.

Maybe someone told him it would be more "magnificent" when guests showed up if it was one continuous wall of buildings so as to look even more impressive to the eye.

To be honest you tend to see that in the rural south because it is cheaper to build 3 walls and a roof than 4, I bet the architect just loved having to work for those two...

I find it hard to believe he's been able to amass this amount of money since he hasn't tried a lawsuit in over eight years now.

He may have taken 30 percent, but he has had HUGE expenses since then, paying for security, and nannys, and private schools, etc., not to mention his campaigns.

"The house reminds me of Southfork".

Can someone create a picture with JR and John John, that would be so hilarious!

I don't. $6 mil a year in property taxes?

I do believe they said that was the tax valuation. Some call it the mill value. It's not what his tax's will be. But I'll bet anybody here he can only use one clapper at a time. What a waste of natural resources.

As someone else said when Edward's plans were announced, "Maybe he could take a little bit of that money and buy a coat for that little girl he kept yammering about during the last election".

I don't know how you turn 6 million into 14 million with no income except a Senate salary.

You know, you would think that someone who created the "two America's" mantra would keep a low profile in that area while running for president.

And then you realize it's a liberal -- do as I say, not as I do. The rules don't apply to me, not even the ones I make up.

How can any thinking person vote for this moron?

I have been looking at that picture all day and it just struck me that that is one huge house for that amount of money.

Here in Raleigh, we've got 3.5 million dollar houses in lots of place -- and even though they are big, they aren't THAT big.

I wonder if that "barn" thing is metal..........LOL.

Guess he won't be doing running any on-location sessions of the UNC poverty study course. Since poverty is a bit foreign to his property.

Those were my exact thoughts. That is ugly as sin and an architectural nightmare.

I suppose it's various storage areas for shampoo, hair gel, spritzer and the like. One section to store Play Station 3's.

That's the thing that stuck out to me too... TWO stages?

The recreation complex sounds more like a community rec place ... not for a private home?!? Too weird ...

LOVE "John's Lounge" ... sheesh ... maybe they figure they'll turn it into a resort when he loses?!?!?
