My aunt and uncle sent this out to our family at 6:30 AM today. Carrie is my young cousin, a very gifted artist, and the second eldest among her siblings. She and her family are in Michigan.
Prayer reqeust from my aunt and uncle (Carrie is their granddaughter).
This morning on her way to work Carrie's car slid on the highway and into a tree. She has very bad injuries, especially to her head. Her brain is swelling and she is now in surgery. They plan to open her skull to allow for the swelling, and she is not responding.They don't give her parents a lot of hope. We are telling everyone so you can join us in praying for our dear Caroline. They called her parents about 7:45 this morning and they're at the hospital now.
The accident was January 25 (the day following her sister’s wedding anniversary). So it’s coming up on six months now.

Prayers continue for Carrie and her family each and every day. We await that glorious day when she is made whole in our eyes. We know she is whole in His eyes.

Praise God for this report. I just leaped for joy when I read that her nose wrinkles as if smelling roses. What a marvelous healing balm for recovery.God’s Perfumes!
May the Holy Spirit so surround and flood Carrie that her heart will be filled with song.
I pray daily for her. Often God brings her to mind and the most unique times... as I work around the house.

Thanks for the update on Carrie. Prayers continue for the complete healing for Carrie, Prayers continue for Carrie’s faithful family, and circle of care givers. How nice that Carrie can smell.

Thank you for the good news on Carrie. Each improvement brings her closer to complete recovery, and I will continue to pray for her.
Remember a while back when I wrote that I was praying for God to restore purposeful, useful movement to Carrie's arms, and asked others to post specific prayers they are praying for her healing? I had asked her if Carrie is right- or left-handed because when I was praying for her, I was seeing her right arm moving so she could paint and write again. Today I received this from Carrie's mother. She knew I had been praying the above re Carrie's arms.
Woohoo! Thank You, Lord!From Carrie's mom today She is right handed. Thank you for your prayers in this area. Last Saturday, as I was dropping off some laundry in her room, I looked at her and her left hand was twitching, sort of in time to the music that was playing. She did it for a minute or two. I have NEVER seen that hand move, so that was exciting. Her fingers were moving up and down. So God must be answering your prayers.
