Indianapolis 38, New England 34
Payton, and his team, deserves it...but I will ALWAYS root for my New England patriots.
They will be back again next year.
Both the owner and the head coach acknowledged and thanked God in their remarks. Classy I think.
Very very unhappy.
Ouchie.
Sad, sad, sad face.
Oh well, at least my Superbowl/Farewell MWSS-371 party will now be very stress free.
Yup. Ole Payton just got that 500 pound gorilla off his back.
"Dammit, where'd I put my BEEBER?!?!?"
if the over under is 10,000 on the number of times you'll hear african american head coach in the next two weeks ...take the over
Why is gloating about your religion "classy"?
It used to be that polite conversation didn't involve sex, politics, or religion.
It's only a game. The real fight is keeping Hillary out of the White House.
Sorry it didn't work out for you. Sports can be a heart breaker.
But now the big question will be can Rex Sexy Rexy Grossman play a decent game and not regress like what happened much of this season? You KNOW he will be pestered by this question....
I am one happy camper! I adore Peyton Manning and the Colts. I knew one day they would get to the Super Bowl and I actually prayed during this game that they could pull out a miracle. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Like soldiers on a battlefield, these guys know that prayer matters.
Coaches of both winning teams acknowledged the fact when asked, then went on to talk about their teams without wallowing in it. I respect them for that.
Whos Mr. Clutch now, baby!
:)

The Pats have had 3 Super Bowls in 5 years, 4 in the last 10.
Some of us haven't had our team in the Big Show in 26 years. :(
I've heard it way too many times today.
Maybe if a person is black, they think differently.
But as a middle-aged white guy, I keep thinking that both Dungy and Smith are good coaches - but they're hardly groundbreakers like Jackie Robinson.
Why? Indy is a great team and the pats had 'a' bad game. Why mess with a coaching staff with a 12-2 record in the playoffs and three super bowls?
Far more annoying are the 100 posts of outrage here for each time it is mentioned. You'd think the announcer had just urged every girl to go out and get an abortion judging by the ranting and rending of garments here in response. Get a grip.
Gee, I can't imagine why the GOP has so much trouble breaking into double-digits with black voters...
