I think of that scenario often, because it is very likely.
What will this President say after hundreds or thousands of innocent Americans are murdered on his watch, due to his willful negligence and failure to do his job?
He will of course, have no good answer to give.
Even after a terrorist sneaks in through Mexico with a dirty nuke and sets it off, our goobermint will only be serious about it for a few months. Then it will be back to business as usual.
