Alright Tx, what's the scoop? I saw AP, Richard Clarke and Gergen were the first mouths out there when this went down... I don't like that... not one bit.
Did they page Green Helmet, Burka Betty and the Heineken Guy yet?
Pool op, how early will the UN condemn this? How long until the dems (yes, the dems), say it was an act of war?
We have to get out the old links... You know revisionist democrat history will soon make it's appearance.
Richard Clarke knows a hell of a lot now... doesn't he?
What's next Boutros Boutros-Ghali telling us what a great job he did last time? Clinton telling us he didn't have the cajones to pull our guys out after the snatch? Nah, he'll have advice of course. I dare the libs try and pull out history on this one... would be the worst move they ever make.
I lucked out and didn't see/hear Richard Clarke or David Gergen..
I had Hairball on my TV, where Murtha was mouthing off about how Bush should have seen over 100,000 troops into Iraq to begin with, blah,blah...
THEN, I saw the "Breaking News" banner in the bottom, talking about this strike.
I looked on FR..and sure enough there was already a thread...from CBS.
But, the first reporter I heard was (ugh) David Shuster on MSNBC....and Mickelishevski (sp) the Penatgon reporter. They didn't have any "opinions" other than Mikeleshevski said that the Pentagon had not confirmed that it even happened.
Since then, we haven't heard anything other than we shot at a caravan of al-queda that were flushed out by the Ethiopians...and shot a bunch of them...but, the target was a terrorist supposedly responsible for the African embassy bombings in 1998.
We don't know ...and won't, I guess, for a day or so, if we got our target. (per the news).
You are up to speed on the news.
BUT, we have all pretty much concluded that by tomorrow the dems will have to have a negative spin on this...or Pres. Bush can use this to say that he hasn't been "ignoring" al-queda while fighting in Iraq....LOL
