Continue to Pray for the Mom and Kids also. Frost bite is common in these situation. Some people run the engine and the snow plugs the exhaust and causes carbon monoxide to fill the car. They will have a hellofa story to tell if James is found alive. It sounds like they did everything right for almost 6 days after getting lost...

"did everything right..." If you are referring up to the point that James left to go for help you should really look at the history especially in this area. If James were familar with three well documented cases of lost families in this area...the three were rescused because someone left to go get help. It is a judgement call - I think any sane human being would be ready to look for help after 6 days and nothing. In addition the family was found by a chartered helicopter from the family - NOT law-enforcement.

If I were sitting there with my family and after six days and I had snowshoes...you better believe I would be on the trail out of there too to help my family.

Choice is simple

Good lesson here to...the family needs to be proactive and do something to find their loved ones. A lot of times the authorities tell the family to sit tight and wait. No way do what the Kim relatives did and use every single resource you have to find your missing family members.
