There is something about the feudal ruling families, in places like lebanon [gemayels, jumblatts], pakistan[bhuttoes], india [gandhies] etc.[the examples are far from exhaustive]. Maybe if all of them perished to the last member, the clannish/tribal/caste organization of these societies would finally start to unravel.
The gemayel family is a big reason why christians are still alive in lebanon. I will never forget the sacrifice they have done for my country and they will always have my support.
