Yeah, I get that. But having a soldier who is treated differently than everyone else because she's a "beauty queen" is dumb. Or even dangerous.
The article only says she doesn't have to carry her assault rifle. She probably carries a smaller weapon. In any event, I doubt that this young woman will be doing any job in the IDF that isn't located in a nice, secure office or base somewhere.
