True, Rockefeller Republicans would love Rudy.

Not would --- They DO love him. They are still around. They just don't call themselves that, and get upset when someone points out that that is what they are.

They haven't changed. They still bash conservatives as radical or ideologues or unappeasable. They’ll be pushing Rudy hard and telling anyone who will listen that only a liberal like him can beat Hillary.

Mario Cuomo is about as socialist and 'big government' as you could POSSIBLY get. Rudy supported him!! I could never vote for a candidate that SUPPORTED MARIO CUOMO! Never.

I'd expect to see Mario or Andrew Cuomo in a Rudy administration.

Rudy went out of his way to 'make his bones' with the Republican Party in this last election. For example, he repeatedly appeared with Santorum (two points for Rudy) even though he knew Santorum wasn't going to win. I give him credit for that.

But if you listened to any of his speeches, he stated how important it was to elect Republicans in general, and not Democrats. I would just roll my eyes when I he would say that--given his support of Mario Cuomo OVER George Pataki.

Yep, Rudy, real important to do that. Explain that one, Rudy. Amazing.
